DMCA Policy for Shooter Casual Fans

At Shooter Casual Fans, we are committed to respecting the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. This DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) Policy outlines the procedures for reporting copyright infringement and for responding to such reports on our platform.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible on our platform, please notify our designated Copyright Agent as set forth in the DMCA. We will respond expeditiously to legitimate claims of copyright infringement that are properly reported to us.

Filing a Copyright Infringement Notice (DMCA Takedown Notice)

To file a DMCA takedown notice with us, you must provide a written communication that includes substantially the following elements (please consult your legal counsel or see 17 U.S.C. Section 512(c)(3) to confirm these requirements):

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed: Provide a detailed description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing: Provide a description of the material that you claim is infringing and sufficient information to permit us to locate the material on our platform (e.g., a URL or specific location).
  3. Your contact information: Provide your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature: Provide your physical or electronic signature (e.g., by typing your full legal name).

Please send your complete notice to our designated Copyright Agent via our contact page, specifying that it is a DMCA Copyright Infringement Notice.

Filing a Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you have the right to file a counter-notification under Sections 512(g)(2) and (3) of the DMCA. A counter-notification is a legal notice that can be filed by the user whose content was removed. To file a counter-notification, you must provide a written communication that includes substantially the following elements:

  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled: Provide a description and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • Your contact information: Provide your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement of good faith belief: A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Shooter Casual Fans may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.
  • Your physical or electronic signature: Provide your physical or electronic signature (e.g., by typing your full legal name).

Please send your complete counter-notification to our designated Copyright Agent via our contact page, specifying that it is a DMCA Counter-Notification.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original DMCA takedown notice. If the original complainant does not file a court action seeking a court order to restrain you from engaging in infringing activity within 10-14 business days, we may, at our discretion, restore the removed material.
